I want the community to get involved to achieve another great calendar in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice. “ I want local people to use photography to capture well known local and recognisable views from a new angle, to show Polegate and the local area from a new and interesting viewpoint.

Dan Dunbar has once again presented a cheque to St Wilfrid’s Hospice, this year he has raised £1,520 through the sale of his popular Polegate and Village calendar. This is the third year running that Dan has organised the photography competition. Dan Dunbar said, “Polegate and local residents have been very supportive in making the calendar a continuing success for a third year. I would like to thank everyone involved for their support especially those who have purchased a calendar. I would like to extend my thanks to the sponsors for making it possible to produce the calendars and also to those who have been selling the calendars in local shops” Dan also added he would like local people to start thinking about images for the 2014 calendar.
Chris Clark, Events Administrator at St Wilfrid’s said “We are extremely grateful for Dan’s continued support and for all his hard work in producing this calendar.
